Gentlemen Officers of the NWC:

The original post for nomination for the Club Public Relations Officer was taken rather far off topic. Concern has been expressed to the Cabinet that the pertinent posts for these nominations are being buried under off topic comments. To that end, a copy of the original thread has been copied in its entirety into the Reading Room Forum for any who wish to read it. The thread remaining here in the Rhine Tavern has now been edited to remove all posts that strayed away from the nominations for which this post was intended.

Any future posts placed in this thread that are not a specific nomination of a candidate, the volunteering of a candidate to stand, or the acceptance of a candidate to stand as nominated will be deleted. This includes campaign speeches, endorsements, seconds, actual votes, etc. The only exception to this policy will be any posts made by the Administrators that are necessary to properly conduct this nomination proceding.

Please nominate your candidates for the new Club Public Relations Officer below. All nominees must be currently active NWC Officers. Nominations will end at Midnight EST on March 15th.

I nominate Todd Schmidgall for the Public Relations Cabinet position. He is one of the most active & involved members of the NWC. Todd would be a positive asset to the club.

I hope Mark Hornsby will reconsider and run. I still think he's the best man for the job.

To summarize the current status of the nominations after this post was edited, both Todd Schmidgall and Scott Ludwig have chosen to stand for election as our new Club Public Relations Officer. Mark Hornsby has been nominated, but has not confirmed his acceptance to stand for the election at this time. To be considered for election, Mark Hornsby will need to confirm, in this public thread, his willingness to stand.

At present, we have two candidates and one nominee.
