Hats off to Marechal Bardon who defeated my Russian and Prussian armies at Bautzen. "Helga, drinks to the Marechal and his friends." But he does not yet get my sword -- it is being used in the second of fight of our combined Bautzen-Leipzig Campaign.

I do have a feeling that M. Bardon will be drinking on my tab more often than not. You see, I have never defeated him in more than ten years of play. "Helga, you had better bring me another keg of that good English Ale."

My commiserations, sir. Herr Bardon is indeed a most formidable opponent. He has claimed many a Coalition sword in his day, including one of my own.

"Helga, my dear, make that two kegs of Britain's finest. I would hate to see our venerable Field Marshal get intoxicated all on his own. Perhaps as we enjoy the masterfully brewed products of an honorable nation that respects its King, I can raise his spirits with tales of Coalition victories at Gzhatsk and the Katzbach."

Salute!

L'Chevalier hears the news of Marechal Bardon's latest triumph, and is eager to toast the great warrior's victory.

As for Sir Muddy Boots, there is surely no infamy in losing such a contest.
I know the quality of the Field Marshal's skills in the art of war all too well.
Did someone mention Gzhatsk?

A toast then, to the victor!
And one as well to the noble foe!

Regards,
