Could it be possible that we get an update by this weekend of the number of votes cast so we know how many people have voted?
I think it could help improving the numbers and do better that 49%.

I have already sent a reminder to the officers of the IIIe corps this morning about the importance of voting within the club.

The "49%" was a record turnout for voting in our club. You keep representing this as a failure, when it was in fact a huge success.

Please provide us with the factual documentation that you must obviously possess showing any vote in the history of our club that has ever approached having 100 votes cast by the members, David.

Gentlemen

In the words of that old song "What will be will be".
I have had a couple of hours in our village community woodland sawing logs, a relaxing 6 mile walk with my dog in between watched an exciting football match Spurs 3 Southampton 2. Before that I cast my vote
All the "big boys" have promoted voting without trying to influence the vote overtly, covertly may be another matter :!:
We will get the result and the % vote in good time.

Maybe you should read what I m saying. I am talking about improving the turn-out. That's all.
It's kind of funny when I am trying to talk about the future of the club everybody is refering to the past and when I am talking about the past I am told that we need to focus on the future. Having more participation to the vote is what we want to achieve if we want a club where its membership is truly expressing itself.

Then I am sure the winner will be agog for your suggestions.
At this point the conversation appears irrelevant as I am sure the new incumbent will be grateful for all input.
