Gentlemen

Again this applies to units in The French Army 1799-1814

My nomination
Battailion Etrangers No4
Created in 1810 from soldiers from the Vatican Army
and that's about as much as I can find :roll:

Well, the Coldstream Guards were of absolutely no help to the Grande Armee, and neither were those pesky Pavlov Grenadiers.

Oh, you mean that was in the Grande Armee. That's easy- Yorck's entire corps of Prussians in 1812, the Saxons in 1813 (and the infantry in 1809), Romana's Spanish contingent.
