I have had no phone or internet connection since Monday.

This is my first day back at work, so my first opportunity to let you know.

The engineer is finally comming out next Monday!

For those of you who are UK based, you may like to know that the providers of this speedy response is Talk Talk.

Hey Tony you don't have to tell me anything about Talk Talk what a joke they are, a nursery school could run a service better than they could. I was with them, and let me say the amount of problems I had, not just with my Phone and Broadband but with the mobiles, and the billing lets not go there. If I was to write down everything that happened with them it could be as long as the discussion on the clubs new rules, yes that long. Well that's my rant over with.

Hi Tony

Odd is it not a National Company is rubbish yet due to my rural location I have a "line of sight" connection provided by a two man firm with around 200 consumers and they are brilliant. Not 100% connection but when it goes down you know very quickly what has gone wrong and in all probability it will be fixed within hours

I'm with btinternet. My father went with Talk Talk as it was a cheaper package. He is now with btinternet.....

Mark-Tony. I'll get my bit of the turn done at the weekend. My new pc at work is win7 so I've lost the old TS games. I have the Matrix version but that can only run on the home pc, which is required for other things most evenings at present.

Was Jim Hall said counts for me too, some years back I decided you leave the big Telekom(our thumb sucking former national telecommunication company no private and even more thumb sucking) for a much better contract of a smaller company and they gave me without having to send a technician or anything else 3x the speed, for 15 bucks less and that in a contract that I can quit monthly unlike the 2 year slave contract from the Telekom.
I see that with other things too, the big ones are simply too comfortable like Jabba the Hutt and you really have to smack their asses to get them moving, so my rule and my advise to others is "Only go for the big companies if there is really no other way", it will help the big ones to change for a better future and helps the little ones to grow maybe to a full competitor to the big ones.
