Salute!
I've long been an advocate for being able to see the actual games played by members, including the opponents thereof.
When we look at the Muster for the various armies, we can see each officer's totals for Victories, Draws, and Defeats, but that only scratches the surface of the story.
If we can see the games/scenarios played, and the opponents we can get a real understanding of the player's abilities.
The totals don't mean that much all by themselves.
However, I also don't want to necessarily create a whole new web page that requires constant updating.
I'd rather look for a possible solution that would utilize a pre-existing format...
The first thing that comes to mind is the following:
When each of us logs into the DoR/Game Registration section, we can see the profile for ourselves, that shows our career as it were.
This lists by dates our medals, honors, etc, including battle results.
This information includes the game played, and an ID #, but not the scenario played by name, or the opponent(s).
If the profile were to be accessible by anyone (rather than just ourselves), and if the details of scenario and opponent were added to the display, this would provide the information we are looking for.
These are my thoughts on the matter.
Regards,
I think what you are requesting my actually be full Administrator access for all members. I have asked Dominik if there is way to allow a person to see a record without being able to alter a record. Perhaps there is, I just honestly do not know all of the functional details of his database system.
I will, however, find out.
