Sirs,
Fall of 1813, just came! She entered to the primeval forests of Brandenburg and Saxony! This is the famous Muskauer Faltenbogen!
Along with her, came the scare of the War and the hostilities led by the Armies! The Army of Bober and Army Silesia coming up!
Campaign Leipzig\Fall\2c\3_0.scn
Home rules:
On the hexes like forest (wood, garden, etc.), village (town, city, castle, etc.) and marsh (swamp, etc.):
Units don't move in lines, don't deploy to the lines, except hexes with the pikes, roads, patches. Can only deploy on external hexes (edges) or alone hexes!
Units in the columns can move only 1 hex (for the forest is 8points as 16points, i.e. full move, etc.), except hexes with the pikes, roads and patches.
Units like skirmishers (voltigeurs, jagers, etc.) can move always.
If the Emperor Napoleon, Tsar Alexander, Kaiser Franz, King Frederick, etc. or Commander in Chief on the map will die or will be prisoner, the game over.
If the losses of the army reaches the 50%, end of the game.
These options should do the battles more realistic and historical.
Units cannot hide in the forest to survive, protect against artillery fire. This is not IWW, IIWW, trenches and bunkers. I mean situation like drôle de guerre, phoney war or sitzkrieg.
The Napoleonic Wars took place on the open fields, meadows, plains, battalions, regiments marched in battle formations, arm by arm, regiment's banner and commander on the horse in the sight by everyone!
