Gentlemen i retire from NWC ranks and III Corps commander seat.

I thank everyone but especially to Marechal Al ; for his help, for his never ending energy, for his quickness while doing things for us !, for his support, for his believe in me (and histwar) and for his open minded personality . Good Luck to this great club and great people in it.

We still have some hope for Histwar; for it becoming the best napoleonic computer game ever, yes after these many years we still have this hope but these bugs kill us ! :frenchangry:
We will see though. You know where you can find me, after years probably i will be on histwar forums waiting for a new patch. :frenchsalute:
Bye Friends, for now.

Hakan

Sorry to see you go....

You do not have to leave just because HistWar is buggy. We are not holding you personally responsible.

Salute!

So sorry to hear of your departure Hakan, it has been a pleasure to get to know you.

I have very much enjoyed the descriptions of your battles, and you were a fine commander of L'Empereur's eagles whose presence among our ranks will be sorely missed.

Regards,

I am glad also to see that finally the Cabinet is not deactivating members as fast as it did lately with departing members. 8)

When John Corbin left the club his forum account was disactivated the same day. I am glad to see that our friend Hakan didn't get the same treatment.

Which made me think that the administrators of the forum have realized that they didn't have to rush.

I do think it's a good thing because we can keep in touch with former members. That's all I was saying. Do I need to explain myself every time I am posting something?

I reckon it all depends on what one is posting...

When a member says they are leaving/retiring from the club, particularly in the manner in which they do so, or the reasoning there of (whether perceived in a positive or negative light), it is understood that their membership will be deactivated.

And for the record, any member who is de-activated due to a continued lack of participation as per the Club Rules may simply re-apply for membership when they believe they have the time to afford such participation.

And the same opportunity is provided to any member who retires, but some day in the future finds the time and inclination to return to the battle maps of Europa.
