Scott, your post in Cliff’s thread is inflammatory. It is a direct attempt to evoke a response from him, and could be construed as a personal attack against him and his writing. There has been far too much of this type of activity in our club over the last few months. It needs to stop.

If you are a French officer, it is fine to poke fun at the Coalition. If you are a Coalition officer, it is fine to poke fun at the French. So long as this is all in fun, and not personal, there is no problem. What is a problem is when it becomes personal, and the jabs are focused on specific individuals. I perceive that to be the case here.

Please delete your last post, and apologize to Cliff for having ever placed it in the first place. I am also going to suspend your forum account for two weeks after you apologize in this thread to give you a bit of time to think this over, and let it sink in.

I am so sorry for offending you and your post! I know you put a lot of time and effort into it and we should appreciate all that you do. Please forgive my lack of civility. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you! I should have never posted such a tasteless picture.

Thank you, Scott. I appreciate your removal of the post, and certainly your polite apology. I expect that Cliff will accept and acknowledge your apology hereafter in this thread in the same polite manner in which you have rendered it.

Scott Clawson has issued a very polite, mature apology to you in the thread above. Are you not going to even acknowledge his apology, and accept in in the same polite, mature manner? Is it simply to be ignored?
