This is only available from the JTS website.

I downloaded it and it asks for a serial number. I had to revert to 1.04 as my game came from HPS. In other words, unless you have purchased the Waterloo game as a digital download from JTS, the update will not work. They are only sound and graphic changes as far as I know, but if he changes the engines in future game updates then we may have to face rebuying the product if you have the HPS version...just a thought.

Maybe it will be fixed...

That's odd. I'm having a somewhat related issue on the ACW side.

I just bought Gettysburg and Chickamauga from the JTS site. It says my versions are John Tiller Software V2.0 (not HPS). I've been told that they are compatible with the latest HPS versions, but in fact they are not. I've tried starting games with 5 different people. None of them worked.

I sent an inquiry to JTS, I will let you know what they say.

Here is the response from JTS:

"Ed,

This particular update is intended for the JTS Store release of Campaign Waterloo. Eventually, updates for all the games including HPS will be released as we work through the update process. The HPS update will appear on the HPS site which will tell you that it is intended for the HPS version.

JTS Support"

I reran 1.04b and then reloaded my graphics package (Philippe Devine Waterloo 4.1c) and all is well again.

Thanks, fellows. I always delay my updates for these very reasons. It takes a bit of work to reset everything if the update does not work properly.
