I believe I have found a bug in Leipzig but would like to know if others have the same thing going on. There are several paths between the rivers west of Leipzig that are marked as only passable by infantry and cavalry. for the French forces this is accurate, but the Austrians are able to move supply wagons and artillery on these paths and their units move at the road rate rather than the path rate.

Are others seeing the same thing?

Oh, now that is interesting. I have only played Leipzig once, and as the French player. I will have to test that out in my Leipzig game.

Hmmm, my Austrians seem to have missed the new technology. I am running Version 1.04. I tested the ability of Austrians to enter the path through the marsh at (122, 111). My Infantry and Cavalry moved along the path at amovement rate of 4 MP/Hex, while my Artillery and Supply Wagons were prohibited from entering. This leads me to believe that the PDT file for the specific scenario you are playing contains an error which is not endemic to all scenarios. I do remember encountering a similar problem in reverse in one of my SON Tournament scenarios. In that case, Supply Wagons and Artillery wer not allowed to move along a path at all, even when it traversed solid ground as opposed to a Marsh.

Having said that, it still baffles me as to how Austrian units could move differently from French units, as the Artillery and Supply Wagons of both nations should share the same PDT parameters.

What scenario are you playing, Theron?

I'm playing First Day. I've played it three times and in two casas Austrians sent a force up the road under my observation. One brought artllery and both moved at road movement rates. I am using my tablet so unable to check the hexes but it is the path that runs south from area west of the western Leipzig bridges.
