It is a rare event in the Napoleonic War Games Club when awards are bestowed on an individual member for Service rather than battle prowess. It is even more unusual when such an award is made by a national entity to a foreign officer. On behalf of His Imperial Majesty Tzar Alexander I and General of Infantry Prince Repnin, I am proud to present two Russian Contingent Service awards to a Coalition Officer.

The first award is the Order of St. Anne II class for Service to the Russian Army. The recipient has been instrumental in assisting with the update of the Russian Awards and records in the DoR as well as adding appropriate icons next to deserving officers’ names on the Russian Contingent webpage. Moreover, he has provided prompt and effective support to Russian officers who experienced difficulty in accessing the NWC Forum during the Third Quarter Muster as well as with reactivation. These and many other services have helped develop a sense of accomplishment and pride throughout the ranks of the Russian Contingent.

The second award is the Order of St. Vladimir III class for Service to the NWC. From the perspective of the Officers of the Russian Contingent, the recipient has worked tirelessly to improve the NWC organization, administration and member experience, especially in the last four years. Helping a new member add a graphic to his Forum signature, organizing club tournaments, developing a system whereby Contingent Commanders are informed of member’s individual victories, almost daily Forum posts including the entertaining Rhine Tavern journal of a Hanoverian Officer, are but a few of the many services this dedicated officer has and continues to provide for our club's members.

The recipient of these two awards is Lt. General Mark Jones, Coalition Army Chief of Staff and NWC President.

URA!

Oh my, thinks Le Chevalier to himself...
Another reason for the consuming of the Jager-liquor the Hanoverian's are so fond of. :frenchdrunk:

Congratulations Mark, the Russian command gives fitting honor for your tireless efforts on behalf of all the club members!

Regards,

My sincere thanks to the fine, Russian officers who have so honored me in this manner, as well as to the other officers offering their congratulations herein. It is my pleasure to serve both our club and our army, and I sincerely thank you for the recognition of my work, and this most unexpected honor which you have bestowed upon me.

:frenchsalute: :frenchsalute: :frenchsalute:

Helga, a round of Jager for the house! And do be sure to quickly refill the glasses of any who may choke, or cringe from the infernal flames, for we shall make brave men of them yet.
