While there is still an official messages missing about this title, the forum for it was already activated:

I hope all here take their time to make some useful comments and hopefully volunteer as beta tester when the time comes.
Personally I hope for a much stronger improvement than what has been seen from "Civil War II".

did you think CW II was not much of an improvement?

Not as much as I had hoped back than, and I guess not as much as this Napoleonic game will improve.
Starts with the regions, there was a map project a while back that split the old regions of the European map into 2, 3 or even more new regions, that alone should make corps movements on the map much more interesting.

CW2 expanded to the West to cover... whatever little action there was, but in the East we still have the same old 5 regions between Washington and Richmond what is a rather small playground for this theater, too small for my taste.
If they had gone the same way and expanded the regions and make the game run on 1/4 month turns it would have been much more interesting in this area, but well one can always hope for CW3 as this title makes the most money(at least I guess so).

Don't get my wrong, it's better than the old title and a bunch of things were added, but on a different Strategy forum there was more or less the consent that for the owners of the 1st title there was simply not enough improvement to buy it 40 bucks, personally I just bought it because it is down to 50% of the original price.
