Officers of NWC,

May I request a brief moment of silence. May I also request that you take this time to charge your glasses.

Today, I present to you, a fine upstanding volunteer in the service of his Imperial Majesty, Napoleon I.

Please join me in a toast to the newly commissioned Sous-Lieutenant George Copelan, who has been assigned to the command of 3ème Compagnie du 3ème Régiment d'Artillerie à Cheval, Artillerie Divisionnaire, 2ème Division, 1er Corps d'Armée.

Whether comrade of adversary, let us honour him with our customary warm welcome.

More importantly, I believe that on saying farewell to his family, he was burdened with a rather full purse. We all know the dangers of such a burden, come let us gently ease him of it.

Gentlemen, please raise your glasses to our newest recruit: Sous-Lieutenant Copelan.

Welcome Sir, even though you stand on the side of tyranny I am always delighted to welcome new officer into the fray.

I believe there was mention of a heavy purse, may I suggest you buy all in the Tavern a round, that way we can toast you success or demise according to our alliances!

Really glad you've joined the Club George, I'm sure you will enjoy it :)
