...I mean clownial [:o)] opponents for two games of either 1776 or 1812. Five turns minimum exchanged per week please! I need to kick my military career into high gear. [:p]

Tom Gremmels and Mike Cox advance to meet the Guard, jolly good show gentlemen! Not exactly what I would call stepping stones though. More like boulders blocking my path to military glory. [8]

I'll contact you both shortly, thanks.

After having challened Sir Natty to fights in the last six months and after having gotten no reply I must conclude that one of three reasons applies:

1. After his loss to me at Brandywine he is afraid to play me again.
2. He is getting old and senile and forgot about my challenge.
3. The scent of my men from their tents scared his courier away.

I am HEAVILY leaning towards #3!

Phil - when another slot opens in your extrememly busy schedule I would love to play you again. I hope that our fine Colonials give you a good show, what?

No Bill it's actually #4 which you failed to mention.

#4. Bill bites on an open challege by me. I politely reply why this particular matchup might not be a good idea....no response from Bill whatsoever. Phil moves on.

Your #1 reason doesn't hold up well, with a 2-1 record against you. [:p]

Your #2 reason cannot be confirmed, but is possible. I molded a lot of lead balls as a young regular, could be lead poisoning. [|)]

Your #3 reason is certainly valid enough! [xx(]

There is a #5 reason. Bartholemew didn't like the taste of your mangey buckskin covered backside. [}:)]

I expect that somewhere down the road we'll square off again, pending
Bartholemew's permission of course. [;)]

Phil - refresh my memory on game #3. We played GermantownB and BrandywineA. Which other game did we play?
Best of wishes to you and your Bartholemew on your next battle. Looking forward to our next match sir.
