Yes Phil has a good idea. Not trying to promote political affiliation, but I think it is true that, "It takes a Village". I already send out two welcome letters to recruits. An additional welcome explaining some protocol might come better from the army commanders. This reinforces the idea that as a group we are all here to help and give advice. Coming from both commanders gives this concept some weight. The only other thing I would add is the idea of intent vs perception. Reading through the thread, I can see where someone new or perhaps unaquainted might take a response as being somewhat critical. Phil, perhaps you could also add a reminder in your welcome, that e-mails can be easily misinterpreted, and if you read something that rankles because of it's tone, do not immediately take offense. We are all busy, and a quick response can appear brusque, despite a friendly intent.

Didn’t think or intend for a simple trivia question to raise the alarm for a patriot lynching. Just trying to generate a little interest. If my miscue results in a beneficial way, then at least I’ve accomplished something. By the way..... answer to first part of question . Dr. Joseph Warren
