Down the gangplank of the HM Intrepid steps the newly appointed Corporal Alex Crooks, freshly attired in brick-red uniform and tricorn. He gives his papers to the welcoming officer who shows him to the temporary camp of the venerable Tarleton's Light Infantry. "'Ere ya go laddie, and know well Tarleton's Quarter!"

Sir,

Lol, shyness is not one of my more famous qualities, in fact upon arrival I created a system to insure I have more folks to challenge! As soon as I get some feedback from a suitable player I'll jump in one. In the meantime, while I'm waiting, I have to find a way to seperate these damned Scots from the others in my regiment, their causing all kinds of problems... damned pipes at 3am...

MR. Crooks, If you have any Scotts with you they are misguided in their loyaly to that fat wannabe upstart of a German King you all seem to follow [;)] If pipes bother you than maybe I need to bring my Scotts and Irishmen by to seranade you some. Then I could let you hear the sound of a claymore on the backside of a lobster back as they run in terror [:D] Welcome to the club sir, I hope you have a good time.

Ah, foreigners, foreigners. If you really want to create a pure UK get rid of the Anglo-Saxons, Normans, Hanoverians, etc and just have the Picts, Celts and ... well anyone else that can lay claim to being one of the original races to live there.
Just dont let the vikings know you have an open shore! Mad vikings. Hard to believe that one of my relatives may have died at Stamford Bridge but that is the size of it.
Can anyone imagine a Norse England? Now talk about a REAL Naval power!

Morgan,

Your idea of a Norse culture GB is indeed an interesting one. I would feel sorry for the poor French in the Middle Ages! One group of vikings is bad enough.... In other matters.... I thought you might find it humorous to know that upon seeing the unit you command I was enraged to such a fury as to issue a challenge, but temperance got the best of me once I saw your points. Perhaps someday, in the near future after a play a game or two, we might settle some old grudges?
