Please join me in welcoming Corporal Atle Jenssen as the newest recruit to accept the King's shilling. He has completed his training with Rich Hamilton and will be assigned a regiment soon. Atle has both 1776 and 1812, so please show him some hospitality and challenge him to a game or two.

Welcome to His Majesty's Army Corporal Jenssen! [^] Make sure that your quartermaster collects the King's taxes at the new rate of 65%. It's actually 60% but you may pocket the extra 5% for personal expenses as the colonials will inevitably overcharge you for what passes as drink here. [B)]

Gentlemen of the British Army,

I am honored to finally being a part of this glorious army, and am now ready to defeat the enemies of the King wherever I meet them. I have bought myself a new uniform (and some other necessities [;)]), and am currently headed westward to help crush the rebellion! Looking forward to buy you all a drink (or two), sirs.
