Paul's guessing. Should I give it to him? [:D] Okay.

You are correct sir! July 4th, 1754, twenty-two years before the 4th of July meant what it means today, Lt. Col George Washington surrendered the mighty fortress of Ft. Necessity after an eleven hour seige. His men were wet, tired and drunk.

It was a good war for George because it taught him how to handle defeat. (and logistics [;)])

Hey, I am an American. I wasn't "Guessing".
I just wasn't sure if it was French and Indian War.

Anyways, good to know these Aussies haven't totally warped my history.

Bill,

It sure beats the heck out of me explaining the letter code at the bottom of my signature.

BTW, didn't I read that Morgan was dead? You may want to come up with some fancy pants French name.

Al - I was thinking that very thing - about Morgan - when I put up my Options URL. Who do I see about getting a new username? I know I can register for one but it wont let me as the email address is already used. Is Rich Hamilton the guy here or Ernie that helps out users.

Hmm, I might come up with an original - like Bill Peters!!!
