Attention, Gentlemen! In their wisdom, His Majesty and the Continental Congress, in perfect harmony and joint action, have seen fit to bestow upon their loyal subjects and deserving citizens, respectively, the following decorations:

Colonial:

Brig. Gen. Garry Cope: Bunker Hill
Lt. William Glankler: Germantown
Ens. Steve Davenport: Bladensburg

British:

Maj. Gen. Sir Phil Natta KCB: Green Springs Farm
Brig. Gen. Sir Ernie Sands KCB: Plattsburg
Brig. Gen. D.S. Walter: Long Island
Col. Stefan Reuter: Fort Ticonderoga
Lt. Col. Larry Davis: First Saratoga
Maj. Glyn Hargreaves: Brandywine
Ens. Gordon Boggon: Sackett's Harbour
Ens. Paul King: Bunker Hill
Ens. Phillip Roubaud: Valley Forge
Sgt. Scott Reed: Plattsburg
Cpl. Allen McGillivray: Lundy's Lane

Congratulations to all recipients! [:)]

For those interested in statistics, with these awardings the gap between the two armies shrinks to a mere 3 medals in favor of the Colonials (135 vs. 132). The Brits have still the lead in the Revolution while the Colonials continue to be ahead in the War of 1812, although in both cases the gap has almost closed. The details are on the statistics page at the Award Center.

And a personal note: Of course it makes me especially proud to see that 5 of the 11 British medals have been won by RNAC officers. [^]

Congratulations to all recipients, but especially to those who fight for King and Country. I'll be displaying the new British awards in each officer's Wing/Department listing very soon.

I am a little hurt by not receiving my 1812 Campaign Medal. Especially as it came at the hands of the good Brigadier Walter. (I know, the British don't stand a chance a Bladensburg, militia too powerful, etc, etc. But what the heck, after the whipping I took at Burlington Heights at your hands, my poor veterans could use some color on their chests....)

Congrats Mike, but now that means I have to go add another one to the page [B)]. Have you had to go and hire someone to walk behind you with your excess medals yet [;)]

Bravo!

Well Gary, you clearly needed more game related work!

But I found a good way to tote them around:

Once in a great while you Yanks come up with a grand idea. I'm envious of your magnificent display of baubles Mike, I may have to lay out my spread of "fruit salad" too. [8D]
