The complete set of medals for the new French and Indian Alliance armies is now available at the Award Center. The updated Ribbons Chart is at
http://www.home.datacomm.ch/dierk.walte ... /Chart.htm
and the ribbons in both versions - "official" and "textile" - are available for download on the Regulations page at
http://www.home.datacomm.ch/dierk.walte ... ations.htm
I have tried to find a distinctive color scheme for every individual army and here it is:
1) British Army: Dark colors. Highest decorations in claret, dark green, and gold.
2) Colonial Army: Bright colors. Highest decorations in red, white, and blue.
3) French Army: Pastel colors. Highest decorations in white, yellow, and lilac.
4) Indian Army: Earthen and natural dye colors. Highest decorations in brown, dark blue, dark green, and pale white (for the campaign ribbon text).
I just hope that we don't get any more new armies in the future, as I can't think of even one other distinctive scheme. [8)]
All officers and NCOs who transfer to a new army will automatically get their medals converted into the equivalent medals of their new army. This includes the Orders of the Bath, Franklin, Washington, and Lafayette, which in the case of the Indian Alliance army are replaced with the newly created Order of Tecumseh.
The pages showing the individual medal recipients will be updated once the transfers are final.
