In an 1812 campaign with Ens. Foley, I can't get on-map results during the replay of his turn. I have on-map results in my own turn. We are both using v. 1.04 and we have both turned on-map results on. Does this happen to anyone else? Any ideas?

Dierk,

If you have used the speed up key (f8 I think it is) this could cause that.

Just to add a little more detail to the matter. On one turn I had the same results,.... no on map results or results box. That only happened for one turn. Has been fine ever since. I do not use the speed up key. Have been using 1.04 since the beginning of the senario of our on-going campaign. I can't think of any option that I am using that Dierk is not. All should be the same settings as when we started the campaign. Wierd problem,..... not to mention it does not help the person that it is happening to as they have to look at their stacks to see what damage was taken. Hope we can figure this out soon.

I don't get no results ... that happens when the opponent played with a higher version using on-map results while you are not.

I get the normal fire result window, though I have on-map results turned on.

Hmmm... get in touch with Rich H. at HPS support. Sounds odd indeed. [:D]

Guys,

I'm kind of swamped right now, but send me a file when you get the chance and i'll look into it.

Al - in regards to the speed up key (F8) I have never been able to get this to work for REPLAYS but it works fine for a AI opponent. The AI's units whiz by and so on and so forth!

Is this feature SUPPOSED to work for playbacks as a well?

Of course it never hurts for both players to delete their pbem.xxx and pbem.yyy files. Seems to be a near silver bullet as far as replays goes.

Bill,

Nope, the F8 key is only to spped up the AI processing during normal game play, not on replay's.
