For those French who are interested in showing the right colors of their regiments on the battlefield [^] and for their ennemies curious to identify those colors before retreating at full speed [:D] I suggest the following website:

Of course, <i>les Voyageurs Canadiens</i> hardly merited a formal <i>étendard</i>; we usually made do with <i>un peau de castor</i> suspended from <i>un aviron</i>! [;)]
