Since Sean is out of commission, and I am putting together a doc of all Scenarios and Add-Ons from SDC.

Need this question answered.

White Plains scenario from SDC Cannon Ammo. For anyone who has designed a scenario, is 100 the default?

I question that the Americans have 19 cannon on the field yet only have 100 shots for 48 turns, that is a measley 5.2 cannonballs per gun. Now, these cannons are going to be pretty ineffective after 5.2 shots, so I was wondering are Americans really low on ammo, or was this an oversight when designed[?]

Cheers,

Well, I can answer one of the questions at least. Default ammo in the scn editor is 0. Whatever your ammo level is, you have to set it yourself.

You can of course be short of ammo, from having fought earlier, from having lost your wagons, you name it ... if you have but 100 rounds left for your 19 guns, what should you do, just leave the guns somewhere? No, guns are expensive, you would drag them along further, even if you can't feed them. It just so happens.

Sounds like the 100 was set, so I will research further.

Anyone know specifically?

I will check again tonight, as I thought Brits was exactly 100 also.

Thanks for Input so far. [:)]

Hello Paul,

I'd be interested in seeing the document you are putting together when you get it done...might be a good addition to my site to share with others. [^]

Regards,

Rich
