As you may of seen a few posts ago i wanted to buy a cheap second hand version of this game, but alas nobody wants to part. So i am now going to probably buy a new version, but what is stopping me is this game worth £34 being 3 years old nearly, but i am willing to pay if it plays just like 1812. Any insight would be helpful thanks.

Definitely worth it, and not only will you get the game for that price, but there's a free expansion package for it on the HPS site (http://www.hpssims.com) but there's also in excess of 70 custom scenarios available for it, again for free, on my site (http://www.hist-sdc.com). If you like 1812 you won't be dissapointed.

I would check Chips and Bits in USA, and Jedko games in Australia. Usually great prices.

34 pounds sounds a little steep.
