Sirs, I see a lot of familar names in here from the NWC and the ACWGC. My question is, Is this club as active as the others ie. in memebrs and games played and such? I hope to be ordering both the games here soon.

Tony,
some are active and some not. I guess it's like in most other clubs. Join our ranks and we can hunt for some colonials. A very shy species
Best you join our Kings troops. The clothing and supply is great. The payment o.k. and there is some hope for a fine farm in the colonies after your retirement some years in the future.

Halito,
Sir, it all depends on what you mean as active. The forces of the Crown are quite active in passing Stamp acts, Intolerable Acts and other onerous edicts, all in the name of a gout ridden King who claims divine providence. On the other hand, the Colonial/American forces are active in pursuing life, liberty and happiness. The choice is yours.

Sir, as you can readily see, we of the British forces would welcome a fellow spirit from the Emerald Isle (either figuratively or actually), into British ranks.

As Stefan has pointed out, we have many active players. We are much smaller than our sister clubs and go about things in a different manner. Please check out our RULES section on http://www.wargame.ch/1776/index.html and the many links to the British and Colonial pages. In addition, we support the 1812 game.

Whichever side you choose, the opponents are there and we all welcome new members with open arms.

Sirs, As Isaid I plan and hope to have both games real soon. COL Sands thank you for the invite, but I have always considered my self an unreconciled Jacobite, so I am afraid I could not fight for George and his family since the true King is still across the water. As Maj Walter knows I am a Rebel at heart. In the NWC I joined the French side and I am a Confederate in the ACWGC. Again thank you to all and I hope to be a member real soon. Ah my good man, glad to see you know what the RIGHT side is to join. I think you'll find your accomodations acceptible. We've captured a lot of British loot in the past couple of years, so they have very few comforts we can't provide...and after all, we're going to win, so best to be on the winning side!

Tony

I think you will find yourself right at home among the Stewarts, Macdonalds, and Macleods. Not to mention the Campbells, Menzies and Murrays.

By joining the colonials you can take a swing at the Black Watch and possibly get even with Barrell's 4th for Culloden. (Though Maj. Walter commands the regiment now.)

Hope to see you under the stars and stripes soon.

Tax refund? That can't be, I'll send a tax collector over to your home ... these Colonials always have more money than they admit to.

Fear the King and pay your taxes!
