As you can see from some of the recent posts, we have had the addition of two skilled and worthy soldiers to our ranks.

Private Ken Miller, formerly of His Majesty's Royal Army, will be coordinating the actions of Lafitte's Baratarians. No British occupied port will be safe!

Private Tony Malone, with his previous experience has been awarded an independent command. He will be raising Malone's Celtic Light Infantry to harass, hinder and defeat the redcoats. Who needs a bayonet when you've got a claymore?

Welcome.

Well, the first Celtic savage who comes near me with anything even remotely resembling a claymore can choose the tree from which he shall be suspended. <img src=icon_smile_evil.gif border=0 align=middle> I thought this was a civilized war!

Maj Walter,

On the other hand, cutting the poor guy in half with a 12 lb cannonball is the very height of civilization?

Ah, the contradictions of the redcoats. That's what you get out of a life of eating mince pie and fish n chips I'm afraid... it has unfortunate effects on the brain, leaves a nation of brain-sickly sorts...

In, any case Gents, welcome and good hunting. Remember to hit the Lobsters where it hurts, by taking back our money!

To all the Orangemen and Hanoverian supporters out there, Beware of my Celtic Light Infantrymen. They have years of pent up rage from the old country and many of the young ones are mad at Old Geroge's bad deeds here. We do not intend to be driven from our new country. As for Mr Walter's tax collection, come and try to take it <g>
