Tom Gremmels, Mingoe (now retired), and I are playing a modified Saratoga against three Brits. It's a very interesting scenario, rather different than the one that comes with the 1776 game.
We need a volunteer for the center brigade on the American side. The approach phase is over - the center brigade is just entering the battle. Interested? Reply here or by email.

I answer the call. Unless you have found someone else or dont mind the smell of stale smelling men from the backwoods then Morgan's Rifles are able and willing ...

Maj. Bill Peters, Morgan's Rifles, American Army
Commander of French Dept.

Well, someone already emailed me to join up. However, I'm finding that my interest in this period and the 1776 & 1812 games is growing - the new engine required new tactics that I'm still refining. Once I get the Tidewater campaign I set up for some people in the ACW club into the battle phase (where I don't have to moderate) I would be interested in starting another MP in this club.
The smell of stale, stinking men in the morning - that's the smell of victory. You'll be glad to know that Morgan's rifles are standing tall in my '76 tourney game. On the other hand, 1/2 my 9th Mass. ran off into the woods.
