Hello,

I have tried 1776Unit.zip from SDC by Neil Henderson and they are good.

Anyone try Ralf Konnertz or Atle Jenssen 1776 new graphics? Are they any good? Better than original?

Cheers,

Neil's units is the best for 1776.

Ralf's will convert your game to Seven Years War Austrian vs. Prussian.

I use Jenssen's Trees, and winter terrain, but use the units and green terrain from the original game disk. I do not care for the darker green terrain from the v1.03. I also use music from the Williamsburg CD "Marching Out of Time." The midi stuff from the game disk is not 18th century in sound or arrangement.

OK, I give up! Where the heck do you find these files? I looked at our links section and couldn't find a listing. I didn't do a search in the forum though...... maybe I'll try that first

Oh no! The "Pro Gloria et Patria"-package (Mollwitz) is Prussian vs. Austrian.

The other 3D-units set is for C1776, based on the graphics I have done for "Pro Gloria et Patria". There are complete new 3D icons for all units and a set of new OOBs.

The OOBs do not change the units in strength or quality but do affect the display. EG each unit of milita is displyed not by just one but by several 3D-icons. This gives them quite a "mixed up and poor" look.

I will post some screen-shots to show what it looks like.
