Congratulations, Gentlemen.
I myself was promoted some months ago, but I don't think it was ever announced. [:0]

First of all, congratulations to 1e Luitenant Lucas Kling, Regiment Karabiniers No. 1, to Lieutenant Eugene Renna, 12th Regiment of Dragoons, and to Maj. Gen. D.S. "Green Horse" Walter, 16th (The Queen's) Light Dragoons.
Secondly, my many thanks to Brigadier General Antony Barlow, 2nd British (Union) Brigade for assuming the duties of adjunct. Unfortunately his predecessor went AWOL and it was some time before his absence was noticed.[:(] Those officers who were excluded their rightful due should contact Brigadier General Antony Barlow and he will be happy to issue them the proper recognitions.
Thirdly (Is that a word?), I will proudly point out that two of these three fine officers serve in my command, the vaunted Anglo-Allied Cavalry Corps, and that said command has several vacancies open to able bodied officers who can pass our stringent entrance requirements (Breathing and Occasionally Sober).[:D]
Fourthly (Surely this is not a word?), I will have my usual Helga and charge it to the newly promoted officers tab.[8D]
