Bon ju Messieurs as I understand your method it seems to me to be a lot of back and forth talking often that leads to disagreement. In Table top you were given orders at the start of the game by the commanding officer. Each player had to interpret that order as best as he could an move as close to that order as he could. This to me was as close as you can get to Historic play. I t gave each player the chance to win or lose the battle. The players were not confined to the General in charge he made the opening orders the others carried out his orders. We had strong and weak players which is Historic. Will this system work close to that or is it a system of combine consent and one player has no say in the play

This system is designed for discussion, to get to know others. The weaker players might learn something, the stronger ones as well I should think.

This method is not designed to be historical and there are many other systems out there. This is to enjoy some camaraderie. The only real person in charge is the person doing the turns.

The main goal is to have fun. Some will observe, some will add banter; others will have very good points.

The Point man is the player. He does not have to listen to others he can play the turn as he sees fit.

If you join with the idea that you are part of a group discussion and that the pointer plays the turns as he wants regardless of your input. I would assume that typically the point man would want to play and do well and listen to others to an extent. I think the point man should be someone of moderate competence. A rank beginner may find it difficult. Although in context of training that would be excellent.

I hope this clears it up.

I am ready to setup private discussion boards for the teams whenever if ever some games are started.

New forum created to support the system.

L'armee du Rhin. Who wants to join and get to know your fellow members?
Join a team to try the new system. It does not reuqire a lot of commitment.
